The Heaviest Sound of Evil

I am in full swing mood in this moment to brag about an experimental heavy [heaviest] doom metal band named “Sunn 0))),that is specially designed for mortals who have an abyss in their soul. The sound of Sunn 0))) songs, especially a number like ‘Candle goat’, emotes the beastly instincts in you with the help of a couple of heavily distorted guitars. First of all, you need to know the dangerous depths of your mind, if you want to comprehend their songs.

 I, as a matter of fact, was a fan of ‘Burning witch’, the experimental doom metal band that dealt with the concepts of doom and hell in Christianity in their lyrics. I personally prefer that kind of sound in metal- Slow, Heaviest and total horror. “Burning Witch” was dismantled soon after it is formed and members of it gave cranks to another bands. One of them were ‘Goat snake’ in which Greg Anderson was the lead guitarist. Stephen O’malley of “Burning Witch’ went on to find this special band ‘Sunn 0)))’ that is heavier and slower in tempo than “BW’. Greg Anderson has also joined that band later and I believe that’s enough for a preface.

I wish to write about my perception of their song ‘Candle Goat’. It is a shock to me that the music of ‘the song accurately harmonized with its lyrics. I would like to share those lyrics with you –

“Alone, unalive, forgotten and abandoned where only the discarded dwell,

the scurrying of footstpes so large planets fall into the great pit,

entire civilizations consumed in the slow frenzy of despair,

an unholiness that judges without reason, digested by something so hungry,

so insatiable, a gleeful darkness that knows you have arrived,

and has always known, something that should never have been,

something waiting with a patience truly terrifying,

that is everything and nothing,

a darkness that binds all together in fear and eternity. Await.”

My Interpretation Of This Scream

‘Alone, unalive, forgotten, and abandoned where only the discarded dwell’

What could be the most exciting, horrifying and adventurous place to be – I would say, without any doubt, it is a lone, wide space where dead humans are buried. You can call it a ‘cemetery’, for the facilitation of comprehension. However, Can you imagine a world- yes I mean the fucking modern world, where we wage the corporate wars- itself become a cemetery and everyone of it is dead except one destined god damned child and that’s –“You”.

In such a state of affairs, you feel dead even though you are able to breathe. There you sit near the future tombstone of yours –‘”unalive and forgotten, abandoned and discarded”. Meditate on these lines, my folk - Aren’t you unalive, forgotten, abandoned, and discarded even when this world runs in its epitomized momentum. Yes, you are dead, in a sense, my friend. These lines reminded me of Nietzsche’s Zarathushtra who just sat there with the first companion he got from the buzzing town, a dead one. It would be terrific if Zarathustra act this part for a music video version [ he he ].

This could be the end of the world- The distorted guitar buzz goes beyond weirdest horizons- A force that could burn your state of art technological civilization into ashes within a flash. People worship things that are afar their reach and control because there are no other ways to understand and beat them. Human beings will try their best to break things and thus reveal them in their sore nakedness. They worship a power that can’t be broken or revealed because they are, in their core crom, nothing but cowards. So when a power that has footsteps larger than your planets, you start to worship it, out of ‘fear’.

Yes, ‘fear’ is the key foundation of any worship for most people. We fear god more than we fear Satan, right ? That is the sole reason,for us to worship him. Here in the above scene, you don’t know the character and quality of the rising power that can crush your universe. You have no idea whether it is good or evil but I am sure indeed, that you will soon build a structure for worshipping it, you coward monkeys [read ‘human beings].

Dumping and Numbing of human beings

When I get to see and interact with today’s teenagers in India’s metro cities, I feel like they are the dumbest mortals of this planet. They neither have intense emotional sensitivity nor the patience to learn their surroundings and fellow beings. Media proliferate that kids of our times are so fast. Fastness! What they do mean by fastness- They, in fact, say that these kids are dumb enough to not to focus on anything or learn about anything as they want to get the things which they covet ,as fast as they get a KFC Chicken Zinger Burger.

They can’t spend time, thinking about any subject that affects their surroundings and at the end of the day, them. They just are running behind all the entertainment in the world to cure the thirst of their subconscious. I want to put it in the right words- It is not ‘thirst’ but a ‘maniacal greed’ that is more or less close to insanity. They are completely driven by [manipulated by] their terribly programmed sub conscious mind. They are the just the slaves of their subconscious’s wishes.

What defines their subconscious? Mind is just a social product and of course, your own elements are there in it but it is more or less a programming by others around you and media. In this case, a peculiar bunch of different organizations are creating and operating these teenage minds' new thirst that is never ending. Media, Liquor brands, chain restaurants, other corporate giants are the important and known elements of this weird bunch who utterly operate the subconscious of these poor kids. They can only seize the rich kids to their web easily because those kids can fritter gallons of bucks to cure the thirst of their subconscious, whenever they want because their wallets are obscenely obese.

At the same time, middle class or lower class kids can’t splurge money to join the ‘unreal world’ and its thirst. They may have tasted it a few times for the sake of curiosity and they, for sure, want to go back to that world but their wallets are fragile. Then they will dip themselves into sadness and would think badly about their poor financial condition. But, at that point of time, some of those kids may go deep in their mind and would find out the core reason of the problem. Everybody will eventually find out the truth if they are ready to think deep.

Thinking improves your sensibility and sensitivity to a great extend that you can view the world and its inhabitants with more clarity and an enhanced sensibility.
But wealthy kids have completely lost the intensity of their emotions and they don’t even know about that. They may look at you with burning hatred if you point out this fact to them because they, honestly, figure that you are trying to slander them. They may react by throwing some cuss words in English to you. But they look at your face blankly when you say them that even their cuss words are clichéd and boring. They are just repeating the cuss words the Americans made decades ago.

There is not a slight percentage of creativity in Today’s Indian youth. All these flower children of ours do is that to imitate Western Culture without any sense of clarity.They don’t have even the sensitivity to copy with style. The music they make, the stories they write, the films they make are boring sensible people to death. The interesting thing is this- In all this chaos, they think everything is perfect in the world. They have lost all the connection to the reality as they are living in their ‘inky pongy’ artificial world which is purposefully designed as a ‘un real world for kids’ by media barons and liquor dons.

They ask you “What fuck is the problem in the world,maayn..There are beers,girls,boys,weed,acid and music. The corporate are going to pay me in millions and I am gonna crush all those poor slum dogs and green fucks all over this city to make it a beautiful city like New York …oh,Newyork,Newyork..my god…I am on my…#$~*********!!!” [Unexplainable]

Yes,They often talk obscene language to make them look ‘Cool’.

Why media has to dumb ‘people’? Well, there can’t be an action without a reason or a purpose, as it is the dynamic motion theory of physics.

I have a guess about the malpractice of the media and corporates in this country to make its people dumber. I will detail about it in the next post and I don’t give a damn about what people think of me if they think that I am over reacting. I write stuff that sounds truth ,to me

Diving into blue

He dived into the depths of that native ocean where
He thought, he would get the luminous experience of exaltation,
which he always dreamt of
A buzzing feel of silent and joyous chants of unseen children
In the blue water, where greed never could dive into
‘I love to have a drop of light here’ he thought, as it decorates his region

Come, join me, in this abyss, he call upon to the force
He controlled his breath to be there for more time
Oh,blue, Oxygen bubbles travels to the upper mountains,

The man moved with electric fishes that smiled and swam cool
lighting up the water world,
Now, it is the time to fly back, to the shore
With the bubbles, to the top
To meet the shore, to listen to those country songs
To ponder in the music of those ancient pines

‘Aah, finally life flourishes’, thought he and let himself go
to the top of that blue consciousness
He, his oxygen bubbles and those electric fishes with smiling faces,
they all flied to top,
it was epic, the journey and its music
